yea!!! im back frm obs.. wahaha... miss my bed so much sia... =D okie... lemme briefly sae wat happned in tis short short 5 days ks... here it goes...
1st day- well... as u noe.. i wasnt veri keen to go.. summore last minute zj tell mi she not goin cos she high fever. i reali sian 1/2 liaos le... but i woke up at abt 5.45am... i was literally dragging myself outta my bed lors. haha. yups.. den go to sch.. meet shiyun n kenneth... den crap crap n crap lik no tmr... go onto bus crap summore until buai tahan... kenneth tok reali lik bullet train nors.. cant stop de... summore the bus auntie dunno how to go the jetty.. keep goin round n round in the punggol estate.. make mi car sick lors... sad sad.. haha. den reach the jetty c so many schs oreadi there so paisei.. lik veri dua liddat... didnt noe there were even some schs later den us.. haha.. den we boarded the boats.. mi n shiyun kena seperated.. reached the campsite i was lik... the place is so run down lors... its obs campsite 2.. the old one... we were like hoping for the course to b a residential one but it turned out to b a mobile de... den found out tt mi, miao ying, guan, jia huey, ramizah, hamizan, joy n azim in the same grp.. of cos veri happi lors.. at least got blss de lors... we were put into a grp called armstrong.. together wif others frm junyuan sec.. we were kinda lik not interacting at first.. den after the ice-breaker our instructor,chua conducted.. we got to noe each other better lors... den we were told tt we are supposed to pack our thgs for hiking the nxt day... had to check all the stuffs in the store n pack them into the big big backpacks.. i thk they are 55 litres ones... darn heavy lors.... den we had games lik the trust fall.. n we went to the belaying 'sch'... when i was doin the belaying i was kinda shaky.. den when supposed to fall soh hwee dwn.. too fast liaos... sorri soh hwee.. didnt meant it. ='C the lunch was terrible lors... biscuits... waliews.. lols... den we learnt to pitch tents.. kinda fun... den cooked our food. kinda nice. all hotdogs.haha. den the rice was nice. lik claypot rice lors...
day2- wake up early... was very cold. freezing. unpitch tent. regretted putting my shoes outside the tent. the morning dew flood my shoes.. so stinking smelly... arghh. bo bian.. wore it. went to wash up. meet up the rest. packed our rest of the stuffs. got our life vests. went into the sea. test out the floats. haha. nobodi shouted xcept ah miao.. lols. den we went to the jetty jump. didnt noe tt i wasnt so scared. still rmb i was kinda worried in my previous post. but. haha... wen there i jus jumped w/o thking of other thgs.. im so brave lors.. lols. =P den we went to theory lesson for kayaking. yups. n time to get into water. we did the capsize drill. was veri fun. lols. den we kayaked into the deep waters n again do the kayak drill. kinda difficult tis time. the water was veri veri deep. so scary lors.. but mi n ramizah did it. hees. ^5. den we went back to camp 2 to eat lunch. tis time is bread wif jam n butter. kinda sians lors.. not full de. wanted to puke out. cos kinda disgusting lors. den tis time we were told tt we are supposed to form a team wif buddy watch the 'macoronis.'(marco polo lars..) we were called the m255 team lors. supposed to kayak to the nxt campsite. estimated abt 9-10 km. guan was the navigator. shao cheng the sweeper. den we went into the waters. kinda messy at first cos evrybodi not listening to guan. but in the end they cooperated lors.. the kayaks keep banging into one another cos we stayed too close. felt kinda irritated. cos hui lee sae we gif her attitude but we didnt. ramizah n i started bitching lors. haha. but fyi, we now ok le..finally reached the campsite. was darn shocked. our campsite is lik so small. n so many sandflies. n the sun is setting. we haven pitch the tents. den tis time round evryone helped. we bonded lors. ate maggi for dinner. full at last. haha. didnt bathe. no toilets. no freshwater. u wan toilet go to the beach dig a hole n do ur stuffs. tts wat we were supposed to do. so smeely tt day. sticky. eeks. haha. end of day2.
day3- woke up early. unpitch tent. did the morning circle. shared how we felt. had water parade. i kinda cheated.. haha. eh-hems. den mi, jia huey, joy n ramizah went to visit the 'natural-toilet.'... gosh.. didnt noe y i dare to pee there lors. so darn er xin. infront is sea bhind is sand plus rocks... lols. den our watch was brought to built a raft out of pipes n big big circular containers n only 15 ropes. kinda difficult. the best thg was we built it faster den the macoronis lors.. haha. den we so haolin.. passed the shake test... foolproof positive. went into the quarry water. took ages to sit onto the raft. the big circular containers started popping out one by one. soon our raft bcum submarine.. lols! darn comical i tell u. den we decided to sit on the pipes itself. lols. paddled lik mad. still nt moving. den we found out the raft stucked to the rock~! LOLS! den we went to play water polo wif the macoronis. we lost. but hu cares. haha. we too tired le. cos they nv finish building raft. cnt pass test mahs. den we hiked through the forest. the estimated journey was 9km liddat.. i forgot. had a hard time carrying the backpacks... was so heavy i changed bag wif ah fat at the middle of the journey. his was so much lighter lors. lols. kinda fun during the hike though got some disputes n disagreements. we still reached our campsite, obs campsite1 was darn happy to recieve the news tt we can bathe n dinner is cooked for us... lols... now den i noe how to b grateful sia. even small small thgs liddat mus cherish, dun take it for granted. we pitched our tents at abt 8+.. so darn dark.. cant c a thg... but we did it at least... we worked veri well... toked to nich on fone. kena c by instructor. tio scoldings... aiyoyo. ='C
day4- pk took over chua cos chua gotta go back sg for personal thgs.. our watch kept jokin that he's going back to get married. haha... love pk lors.. she reali good~!!! =D tell us so many jokes.. summore the breakfast at campsite 1 is so darn delicious lors... so long nv eat good food le.. haha. den we went to do the high elements. i pair up wif hamizan to climb the thg. we succeed. heng he help mi lors. den after that is lunch. oso veri yummy. den we went rock-climbing. we had to reach a target of 3500 points... we haf to climb more to achieve the amt... so much fun... pk oso darn good to us lors.. *grins we exceeded our target by so so much... lols. so happi. den we packed our stuffs... time to chg campsite... tis time we reached our destination in 15mins.. cos quite near. n we took the shortest cut we could.. so happi n relieved when we reached. chua told us we will haf a food feast tt nite... darn nice... our watch de cook team cooked us campbell soup n sum kinda rice. i tell u.. the rice is delicious. its wif curry chicken slices, raisins... nice. yummys~ den AS USUAL we went to the beach to bury up the leftovers. scrubbed our pots n mess tins wif sand... nv knew sand could do such wonders to ur cooking utensils rites... haha.. go try lors.. lols. can scrub until ur pots bcum sparkling clean. we bathe. sleeped.
day 5- last day. hmm.. woke up. washed up. didnt haf to unpitch tent cos the guys volunteered to help.. haha. den we washed up the thgs we used during the expedition... had so much fun. meet up wif chua. debrief. final circle. i wanted to cry. last 45 mins spent. hais. sad. crapped super much wif them. haha. time to part. sad.
enjoyed so much at the camp. nice meeting u guys of armstrong. we will foreva haf 'strong arms..' lols.. chao lame. hmm... nich.. so sorri.. spoilt the surprise u did up for mi.. sorri. ='( tata. i gotta slp. =S
